Why I became a Trustee
When I retired as Human Resources Director of Southbank Centre, I looked around for some way of making us of my HR experience with a charity to give back to the community some of what I have enjoyed in a long and satisfying career.
I was attracted to Alexandra Rose because of its unique role in helping small charities. Being itself quite small, it also seemed to me that this was somewhere I could make a real contribution, and so it has proved. It's also exciting to join an organisation that is in the process of re-inventing itself.
