Roger, born 1944, is a Chartered Accountant and worked for the Bank of England for 12 years, latterly as head of its Industrial Finance Division.
He moved into industry and from 1987 to 2004 was responsible for corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, at a major multinational company, British American Tobacco plc.
He was a Board Member of Look Ahead Housing and Care, a large special needs housing association, for 14 years and now is treasurer or a trustee of a number of voluntary organisations as well as of St Alban’s Holborn parish church.
Roger has been married to Jodie since 1971 and they have two grown up daughters.
