BookRelief UK is a North Devon-based charity established with the object of promoting and advancing literacy standards both at a local level and in developing countries. We do this through the active support and instigation of literacy advancement projects and by working with, or partnering with, other specialist charities and organizations both locally and further afield as appropriate.
We are a uniformed, disciplined youth organisation who tries to help young people become better adults by incorporating fun with leadership, teamwork and self-discipline.
BPTRG was set up in 1986 by private tenants who came together because they wanted to work collectively to bring about improvements in their living conditions. We remain a membership organisation and private tenants are at the heart of everything we do.
