Jeremy Hunt MP is bowled over by Alexandra Rose Charities
Jeremy Hunt MP joined us for an exciting evening of bowling and made the first break in this local competition. Over 90 people turned up to the Guildford Spectrum on Friday 26 February. Margaret took the chance to speak to Jeremy and asked him "What do you think of the work that we do ?" He answered "I think one of the biggest challenges of the 21st Century is to create a more giving society and ARC is one of the best ways I have seen to involve everyone in a new culture of philanthropy."

The evening was a great chance for young people to become involved in fundraising whilst taking part in a team event. India Oliver and Romilly Hill, both students at Godalming College were on hand to sell raffle tickets and help the players as they arrived.
India commented "I have really enjoyed helping this evening and am thrilled that I helped raise over £800 for such a worthy cause."

Many thanks must again go to our sponsors of the evening:
The Mill at Elstead, The Donkey, Tilford, The Woolpack, Elstead and The Golden Fleece, Elstead who all donated team prizes and to all those who donated raffle prizes - including Russell & Bromley, Aqua-Roma Guildford, Chandlers Garage, Elstead, Pride's Farm Shop, Elstead, Mandolay Brasserie & Bar, Guildford, The Royal British Legion, Elstead, Sainsburys', Waitrose & Elphicks in Farnham, Strada Restaurant, Guildford, The Plough, Wrights Brewery, Captain's News all in West Street, Farnham.
