A new name for the new century
When Queen Alexandra established rose day in 1912 money was collected for good causes on just that one day.
Now money is raised everyday of the year through donations, special events and rose day itself, which is still held annually in June.
To better reflect our work in the 21st century of raising money through a whole range of methods we have made a small but significant change to our name. We will now be known as Alexandra Rose Charities.
