Margaret's 'Old Girl' Visit to Queen Anne's School
On Tuesday 16 February, Margaret Stock and Lizzie Cundy, style guru and presenter of ITV2 At The Movies visited Queen Anne's School in Caversham. The girls from Queen Anne's had collected £1250 for Alexandra Rose Charities and were delighted to be able to present their cheque to Margaret. To thank the school for their hard work, Margaret presented the Headmistress Julia Harrington with a signed print of the Alexandra Rose Flower Seller.
Once the presentations were over there was time for Margaret to talk about her time as a pupil at Queen Anne's and how it had helped her with her career. Lizzie Cundy talked to the girls about her life in the media and how she started as a model and was now a TV presenter making regular appearances on Sky News. This was followed by an informal chat with the sixth form girls in their "Cafe Six".
