Rose Day Launch 2008 at the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair
Friends and supporters of Alexandra Rose Charities gathered at the West End hotel to launch Rose Day 2008 and raise awareness of the needs of the small and local charities that are helped by participating in public collections.
A Special Offer for Alexandra Rose Supporters
"This new Italian is a lot more fun than its predecessor on this site. First of all, Avista looks beautiful, with its walls of exposed brickwork, travertine marble floors and taupe leather sofa banquettes – understated luxe. Then there is the service – thoroughly kind and bend-over-backwards to please. But what you will enjoy here the most is Michele Granziera’s cucina – he comes from Zafferano and it shows in the risotto with porcini, stewed baby octopus with soft polenta, veal shank, exquisite tiramisu (described as ‘Italian cheesecake’), delicious wines – especially the whites from Friuli and Alto Adige. It has a great bar too – it makes a stylish alternative to the nearby Connaught or Claridge's." Tatler Restaurant Guide 2009.
To celebrate 2009 we are delighted to offer Alexandra Rose Supporters a special three course menu for £20.09 during the months of January and February 2009.
Please mention this offer when making your reservation, subject to availability at time of booking. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer – not valid Feb 14 2009.

This year collections will be held at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Harrods and in the City of London. The charity is hoping to extend the number of London collections and is delighted at the response we have had so far.
