The Rose Golf Tournament at The Berkshire 2009
On Friday 29th October, Alexandra Rose Charities held their annual Golf
Tournament on the stunning Red Course at The Berkshire. The mist rose in
the early morning light whilst the 18 teams arrived for a hearty breakfast.
The current captain of the Berkshire, Iain Mathewson followed in the clubs’ traditional support of the charity and brought his own team, other teams were made up with City Investment Bankers, Beadles of Livery Halls and a team with a charity minded London cab driver who supports the Wilderness Foundation.
The day proved to be a great success with beautiful sunshine, an excellent carvery lunch in the clubhouse with a fabulous auction and Lady Grade’s Pink Raffle. Raising a total for day of over £10,500.
