About this charity
MS Therapy Centre (NW) overall aim is to enrich the lives of people with Multiple Sclerosis by providing, in a caring, supportive and positive setting, therapies which will enable them to have a better quality of life.
Activities & events
We are a self-help group and registered charity endeavouring to provide a complete service for MS sufferers throughout the North West, encouraging them to look after themselves and make the best of their lives within the confines of their condition. Without this help many of our sufferers would be more reliant on wheelchairs. We receive no statutory funding and have to raise the £180,000 needed annually to run our Therapy Centre.
Our charity provides a wide range of treatments and alternative therapies .We provide High Dosage Oxygen Therapy, Physiotherapy, Complementary Therapy, Electro Magnetic Therapy, Dietary Advise, Hypnotherapy, Drop in Centre, and counselling to MS sufferers and their carers. The role of physiotherapy and complementary therapies remains central for patient management.
