By supporting Alexandra Rose Charities you are helping more than 300 very small and vulnerable groups across the UK. Small, local groups are the most hardest pressed area of the voluntary sector. They often have no national profile and do not have the finances or the manpower to mount significant fund raising initiatives of their own. However, it is often just these charities, run with an intimacy lacking in the big national organisations, that can be so very effective at local level. Sometimes all they seek to do raise is a few hundred pounds. In a world where charities must compete, they struggle to be heard. 

The charities we support are ‘people caring’. This embraces a huge number of causes spread all over the UK that help the very young, the old, the terminally ill, the lonely and the disadvantaged (click here to see film)

How can your company help?

Run a Rose Collection in your offices (we will provide all the equipment you require) – make it a ‘dress down day’. Monies collected can either go to one of our partner charities or into the Special Appeal Fund, which gives grants of up to £1,000 to charities for specific projects or £500 towards operating expenses.

• Volunteer to support one of our partner charities – this can be helping with a Collection, offering IT or financial advice, general help with their local events – whatever skills you can provide. Sponsorship of one of our Events.
• Inviting a corporate party to attend one of our events – like fielding a team at the Rose Golf Tournament at the Berkshire Golf Club, attending our Ladies’ Luncheon at the Royal Kensington Yacht Club or joining us at one of our City Dinners (click to see forthcoming events)
